On December 4, 2005 more than 300 runners, patient families and friends gathered at the Newton Marriott for the 2006 Miles for Miracles Team Boston Kick-Off reception. For many, it was the first time they had met their runner or patient partner. Seeing the smiles on the children’s faces and the pride in the runners’ eyes made everyone excited about the journey we’re beginning. What a wonderful day!
