Past Years
In 1997, Rob Griffin founded Lobbying for Children’s in response to a need for main lobby renovations. The event raised close to $500,000 and, born out of Rob’s vision for the future, went on to become Champions for Children’s. In 2000, the event raised nearly $500,000 for oncology services. In 2002, all proceeds went to the Children’s Fund, which directs money to the hospital’s areas of greatest need. In 2004, Champions for Children’s raised $2.3 million and became an annual event.
